Associate Financial Analyst performs clerical, financial, and administrative services in an office environment, posting transactions, and calculating tax, interest and totals, as well as tracking incoming payments and obligations. As they gain experience,
Associate Financial Analyst may be given broader responsibilities for accounts and data.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Processes Finance & Accounting transactions that includes but is not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivables as well as reporting tasks
2. Completes all assigned tasks within Service Level Agreements/standards of turnaround time and quality
3. Communicates with internal/external customers on invoice/remittance discrepancies, raises clarifications as needed and coordinates with Country Finance teams to ensure that processes run as expected
4. Maintains financial security by following internal controls
5. Prepares payment by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
6. Maintains customer confidences and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential
7. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
8. Performs other related duties as may be assigned by supervisor/s
Experience:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact in all levels in the organization Has worked in a Finance & Accounting position Knowledgeable on international accounting standards a plus Adept at using Microsoft Office Experience in an insurance or shared service industry is an advantage Creative, analytical, with a can-do attitude to respond to changing business needs in a fast-paced environment A solid sense of accountability, strong customer focus and results orientation along with the ability to thrive in challenging situations Able to work well in a team or independently with minimal supervision
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree of Accounting at least 1 year related work experience
