Basic Qualifications
Juris Doctor Degree8+ years relevant in-house or law firm experience specializing in mortgage and home equity lending and/or servicing issues8+ years of strong working knowledge of consumer lending laws including Truth in Lending Act/Regulation Z, RESPA/Regulation Z, Homeowners Protection Act, ECOA/Regulation B, Fair Housing Act, UDAAP, state consumer protection laws, GSE seller-servicer guidelines, and/or FHA guidelinesMust be eligible to become licensed as a corporate counsel in or otherwise admitted to the Bar in Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, or North Carolina.
Other Traits and Qualifications:
Experience representing entities regulated by federal banking agencies or experience representing such agencies.Fair lending experience and experience working with limited English proficiency programs.Experience reviewing consumer lending marketing materials.Strong attention to detail and an ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills; written and verbal.Excellent interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to negotiate timelines, delivery dates and resolve conflicts.#LI-NG1#LI-Hybrid

Compensation Range:
125,000-255,000 annuallyThe compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
