1. Electrical Project Management Lead planning, execution, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure for new and existing plant projects. Ensure project completion within time, budget, and quality standards. Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams for seamless integration. 2. Electrical Maintenance & Reliability Develop and implement preventive & predictive maintenance programs to minimize breakdowns. Ensure smooth operation of high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems, transformers, and switchgear. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for failures and drive corrective measures. 3. Safety & Regulatory Compliance Ensure adherence to Indian Electricity Rules, IE Act, BIS, IEC, and OSHA standards. Conduct electrical safety audits, risk assessments, and training for the maintenance team. Implement arc flash protection, earthing systems, and lightning protection. 4. Energy Management & Optimization Optimize power distribution systems to reduce energy costs and carbon footprint. Implement energy conservation initiatives such as power factor improvement and waste heat recovery. Coordinate with utility providers for efficient power management. 5. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination Manage contracts and procurement for electrical equipment, cables, transformers, and automation systems. Work with internal teams, external consultants, and regulatory bodies for project approvals. 6. Team Leadership & Skill Development Supervise and mentor electrical engineers and technicians. Provide training on new technologies, troubleshooting techniques, and industry best practices. Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred). Experience: Over 15 years in electrical engineering roles within metals, mining, or heavy industrial plants. 5+ years in a leadership role managing both projects and maintenance. Certifications (Preferred): Energy Auditor (BEE) Project Management Professional (PMP) Industrial Electrical Safety Certification
