POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the workstream Sr. GPO or workstream GPO, the Associate Global Process Owner (GPO) has accountability for supporting the success of the functional workstream area (Functional Workstream Leads - 3IB), provides clarity on requirements and drives alignment between business and the functional teams.  They are the champion of the solution.  The Associate GPO will have responsibility and leadership over solution confirmation, readiness, design-build cycles, test and deploy.  The Associate GPO will lead a team of GPM's, Data Leads and/or Testers.

 

The Associate GPO will have a deep understanding of the business requirements of their functional workstream and will work with the GPO / Sr. GPO to ensure successful implementation of the Solution.  The role will also be responsible for overall successful delivery of a given release. 

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support solution confirmation through gaining alignment within the function on global process and representing the business function in the end to end process. Work with Functional Workstream Leads to make cross-functional KDDs and other decisions Challenge business needs and rationale to deviate from standard software (customization metric) Identify Function Reporting Needs Validate change impacts and communicates training needs with Change Manager Continuously drive stakeholder alignment Identify Business Scenarios. Processes, Sub-Processes, and Variations for Functional Area and integration into aligned E2E business scenarios Support the development and communication of the readiness plan Review program risks, issues and escalations – resolve those related to business adoption Serves as point of escalation for team members Champion testing and ensure quality outcome, verifying delivered capabilities against increment goals – including FUT for key development objects Provide input into readiness plans for the function, including deployment tasks Complete role mapping Execute readiness and deployment tasks for function – including super user enablement Manage process to communicate messaging with end users and customers and continue to socialize program info and decisions with functional owner Support cutover and drive process adoption activities, including training

GENERAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

10+ years’ experience leading direct continuous and process improvement and/or delivering multiple/complex programs. 8+ years of global people leadership experience is required. Understanding of relationship between systems and application, importance of data and providing insights Experience in managing business user expectations and IT strengths and working with system integrator to deliver a complex program Ability to manage risks, issues and scope changes across multiple workstreams with a keen eye for escalations as needed Extensive global program management and strong project management abilities. Effective leadership managing virtual resources within a global business environment. Hands on SAP experience Strong influencing skills

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience within the consumer product goods industry. Master’s degree in business administration Experience as a Global Process Manager on Program Leo
