**Description**
Leidos Security’s Crisis and Emergency Management (CEM) Team located in the Global Headquarters office in Reston, VA is seeking an Associate Global Security Analyst. The position requires managing multiple responsibilities at one time, including tracking and assessing active and potential global threats in the continental U.S. and overseas utilizing in-house intelligence subscriptions as well as opensource threat data to assess and determine potential immediate and/or long-term impacts to Leidos employees, facilities, and physical assets. This role requires experience in crisis management, emergency preparedness, or similar areas. The candidate must be skilled in drafting summary reports for senior leaders as well as preparing guidance and advisory messaging for employees located in or near areas of potential threats.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contributing to the CEM Team by monitoring and assessing global threats and initiating crisis response protocols.
Participating in crisis planning exercises with the CEM Team or with stakeholders to exercise and test cross functional playbooks such as active shooter, tornado or hurricane response, etc.
Learning the full functionality of the CEM Team’s global threat and asset management platforms including a visualization tool, mass notification tool, and employee outreach and accountability functions.
Drafting and disseminating priority reports for corporate leadership.
Managing protocols for granting and removing platform accesses as well as tracking accesses for security stakeholders.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years or equivalent experience. Additional years experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
Demonstrated ability to research and summarize data from various platforms, including opensource intelligence, news sources, scientific resources, and other relevant crisis and emergency management tools and prepare comprehensive reports under pressure with very tight deadlines.
Detail-oriented, creative thinker with the ability to strategize and solve complex problems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Full command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Outlook).
Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends hours during crises preparation and/or response.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
In-depth working knowledge of the Everbridge platform, specifically Everbridge Suite and Visual Command Center.
Working knowledge of the Dataminr platform.
Experience interacting with corporate leaders and colleagues across multiple areas.
Knowledge of the National Incident Management System, the National Response Framework, and the Incident Command System.
Experience as a security/site liaison to local, state, and federal law enforcement or as a first responder.

**Pay Range:**
Pay Range $44,200.00 - $79,900.00
