Associate HRIS Specialist
**Job Overview:** The Associate HRIS Specialist utilizes existing HRIS procedures to solve routine or standard problems. They receive instruction, guidance, and direction from others within the team, and they will leverage their conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures related to HRIS and Human Resources. **Key Tasks and Responsibilities:** + Provide accurate tier 1 phone and email support to resolve application-related and support inquiries within the agreed SLA (Service Level Agreement) + Accurately document all support requests/ incidents and end-user interactions in the ticketing system + Monitor access management process and enforce IT security protocols + Act with urgency ensuring technical/desktop issues are reported to the system administrator or Global IT Helpdesk/Local IT + Complete and accurate handling within the given SLA Target + Monitor and document external tickets issued by Vendors; perform general troubleshooting to diagnose and escalate to the appropriate resolver group + Provide professional and exceptional customer service to all supported end users and colleagues + Provide value by educating end users on supported applications + Utilize the team’s internal knowledge base, circulate references, and provide feedback for improvements + Author weekly tips or process documentation to be published in the knowledge base once approved –internal (HRIS HD) and external (supported users) use + Maintain an open, positive, and healthy relationship to help achieve teams’ goals and expectations + Willing or receptive to learning from management feedback and working with Leads to meet monthly KPI metrics and Quality drive + Participate in task rotations and on-call responsibilities + Participate in system testing due to new processes, functionality, and upgrades. + Perform routine field/table maintenance related to job locations, job codes, requisition templates, etc. + Perform transactional/functional tasks if requested by HR/Legal **Essential Qualifications and Education:** + Bachelor’s Degree + 3 to 5 years of relevant experience + Experience with SAP, Oracle Fusion, and ServiceNow preferred + Intermediate knowledge of MS Office including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio + Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices for access, service, and incident management is an advantage but not required + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Excellent written and verbal skills + Quality and detail-oriented + Ability to multitask without affecting output quality + Proven ability to work effectively in team situations as well as independently + Organizational ability and the ability to work under pressure + Able to demonstrate a strong work ethic + Resourceful and innovative \#LI-YD1 McDermott is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
