A Day in Your Life at MKS: As an Associate Human Resources Generalist, you will provide a range of key HR support to our Irvine, CA location. This role is a vital member of the MKS HR team, ensuring consistency in our HR practices and balance advocating for the business, employees, and managers. You Will Make an Impact By: + Supporting the onboarding process by preparing orientation materials and assisting new hires + Serve as the day-to-day HR contact for local management and employees to address questions and issues that arise, providing sound HR guidance and counsel in a responsive and timely manner + Partner with our HR Centers of Excellence (e.g. benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, talent management) and serve as the liaison for the site employee population. + Gaining an understanding of manufacturing and operations, beyond the HR function, to guide managers and employees on matters such as candidate interviewing and selection, performance management, employee relations, and training and development + Supporting HR programs, planning activities/events, drafting HR communications, and helping compile and analyze HR metrics/reports + Assisting with offboarding procedures and exit interviews to discover how the company can optimize retention Skills You Bring: + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience + Experience working in an office or manufacturing environment preferred + Proficiency in MS Office, well-developed computer skills, and the ability to complete administrative tasks efficiently + Well-developed communication skills and an effective team player approach Physical Demands and Working Conditions: + Will perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time + Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand + Will primarily work in an indoor office and manufacturing environment, with some outdoor settings MKS is an equal opportunity employer, including disabilit y, veteran status and all categories protected by law. This range is a good faith esti mate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.  At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role. Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
