Duties and Responsibilities
Processes orders, including order taking, order entry and order picking. Prepares correspondence, and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction, and order close out.Works with shipping to support invoicing process and record keeping.Ensure customer orders match approved customer specifications on file.Coordinate customer return goods activity per internal procedures.Initiate customer complaints into HRC complaint handling system, including acknowledgement back to customer.Ability to comprehend and execute standard operating procedures.Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.Will receive incoming calls, provide limited technical support as needed.Will check incoming mail, follow-up on overdue orders and returns, follow up on purchase orders.Works with others as part of a team.Position Qualifications and Requirements
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.Familiar with a variety of Customer Service concepts, practices, and procedures.Knowledge of Phone systems and operations.Functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, MRP Software and Internet Explorer.Excellent communication skillsAS400 experience is a plus
