About the Role: OSTTRA India The Role: Associate II Software Engineer - UI The Team: The OSTTRA Technology team is composed of Capital Markets Technology professionals, who build, support and protect the applications that operate our network. The technology landscape includes high-performance, high-volume applications as well as compute intensive applications, leveraging contemporary microservices, cloud-based architectures. You will have 3-5 years' experience of UI development experience, with good expertise in Angular to meet the needs of our expanding portfolio of Financial Services clients. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team based out of Gurgaon and to work with colleagues across multiple regions globally. Responsibilities " Develop and maintain Angular-based web applications, ensuring high performance and responsive design. " Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code. " Implement and maintain a clean, maintainable, and scalable codebase using best practices. " Work closely with back-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs. " Optimize application performance for speed and scalability. " Write unit tests to ensure code quality and maintainability. " Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications. " Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team. " Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. What we're looking for " 3 to 5 years of proven experience as an Angular Developer, with a strong portfolio of projects. " Proficiency in Angular (Angular 2+), JavaScript/TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, and CSS3. " Strong understanding of front-end build tools and processes (e.g., Webpack, Angular CLI). " Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and integration with back-end systems. " Knowledge of responsive design principles and experience with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS. " Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git. " Experience with testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, or Protractor. " Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. " Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. " Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Preferred Qualifications " Cypress testing framework " Experience with state management libraries such as NgRx or Redux. " Knowledge and hands-on experience with Java 8, Spring, Springboot, Gradle, Microservices. " Experience with other front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js). " Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure. " Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
