Site Reliability Engineer

Description:

UST® is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a leading financial services organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in DevOps within a cloud (AWS) environment, excellent leadership skills, and strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities: Continuously refine AWS deployment practices for improved reliability, repeatability, and security. Develop automation scripts for AWS services using AWS CLI / API, Terraform, Chef. Configure CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments using Jenkins, AWS CodeDeploy. Document and diagram deployment architectures, collaborating with Software Engineers and DevOps teams. Troubleshoot production issues using log analysis and debugging techniques. Promote a DevOps culture, fostering collaboration between technical and business teams. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in DevOps, AWS Administration, and Automation. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS EKS. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation. Familiarity with Java, Spring, Spring Boot applications. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Chef. Experience with Jenkins, Jenkins Pipeline for build and deployment automation. Strong AWS administration knowledge: EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, ECS, CloudWatch. Experience with Docker Containers on ECS or Kubernetes. SQL experience with RDS-PostgreSQL or other DBMS. Knowledge of log aggregation tools such as ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana). Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language. Preferred: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Agile team experience. Technical Skills
