Overview
Chubb is looking for an Associate Internal Auditor to join our team. Responsibilities:
Participate in operational and financial audits and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing. As part of the financial audit responsibilities, the successful candidate will support risk-based audits, advisory projects, and continuous auditing initiatives for risk areas such as reserving, reinsurance and other critical financial areas/functions. Perform tests of internal controls to assess the effectiveness of the control environment. Use problem solving and critical thinking skills to identify internal control deficiencies, evaluate their risk implications, and draw the appropriate conclusions to best advise management. Build and nurture positive working relationships with management.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a business related major (Accounting, Business or Data Analytics, Finance, MIS) 1-2 years of experience in public accounting or internal audit experience Excellent written and oral communications skills Strong analytical skills with ability to understand complex processes Must be a team player with proven track record of collaboration Strong project management skills required Self-motivated, always striving to learn and execute Willingness to travel up to 15% They will be considered as a plus: Experience with data analysis tools (e.g. DataIku, Alteryx, QlikSense, PowerBI, ACL, etc.) and analyzing data output Relevant professional designations (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA, etc.) Experience with IT controls (e.g., application logical security, edit/validation testing) Experience in the insurance industry (e.g., Property, Casualty, A&H, etc.)Our team makes the difference, every time.
