Associate IT Business Services and Solutions Partner

Our team is looking to hire an Associate IT Business Services & Solutions Partner to serve as liaison and navigator between one or more clinical business areas and the IT Department, guiding and shaping technology demand from the clinical business. This role requires excellent project management skills to ensure the high volume of complex requests progress each month and are successful.
A caregiver in this position works days, from 8:00am—5:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Assist in constructing and communicating the long-term direction of the BU IT solutions ensuring that short term goals, objectives and tasks are aligned with the BUs and ITs strategic direction.
Assist with determining BU business needs and drafts technological solutions.
Support the initial assessment of BU requests, includes cost/benefit analysis and a review of project feasibility.
Contribute to BU business discussion as it relates to both non-technology and technology related matters.
Identify emerging trends in IT solutions, research them, and aid in aligning the needs of the BU with IT products and services. Works with and coordinates ITD extended team to ensure seamless support to the BU.
Facilitate the execution of business plans through technology and integrated process improvement techniques.
Seek new opportunities for the BU and develop strategic IT solutions.
Provide leadership to other IT groups to effectively deliver solutions that facilitate the BU achieving their strategic initiatives.
Build and maintain effective relationships at all levels.
Serve an integral role in enabling the BU to achieve their objectives through technology.
Ensure the alignment of people, resources, and strategies to facilitate IT support for achieving the strategic goals of the BU.
Provide mentoring, as needed, to other IT individuals and business unit individuals to help facilitate this alignment.
Build partnerships and foster relationships with other technology groups outside of IT that have a role in the BU delivery of patient care.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
Additional work experience in IT or related field/industry may offset degree.
For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within six months of the position start date.
Demonstrated record of partnership in a professional organization.
Has complex planning, forecasting, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
Can communicate, negotiate, and manage complex projects in a complex multi-location systems environment.
Strong knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Master's Degree.
Five years of progressive healthcare experience, including two years in a large academic medical center.
