**IT Executive Support Technician**
**The IT Executive Support Technician provides high-level technical assistance to executive staff and other VIP users, ensuring seamless operation of their IT systems and devices. This role requires a strong understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, and mobile devices, along with exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills. The technician will troubleshoot issues, maintain hardware performance, and provide timely and effective support to meet the unique needs of executive users. Additionally, this role will involve supporting the home office, assisting field support on projects, and traveling to different locations to set up and manage AV systems for conferences and webinars.**
**ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:**
**Provide prompt and professional technical support to executive staff and VIP users, addressing their IT needs with a high level of urgency and attention.**
**Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to computers, mobile devices, software applications, and network connectivity.**
**Proactively monitor and maintain IT systems and devices used by executive staff to ensure optimal performance and prevent potential problems.**
**Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.**
**Provide personalized training and guidance to executive users on IT systems, applications, and best practices.**
**Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve escalated issues and implement solutions.**
**Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions, documenting troubleshooting steps and solutions.**
**Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends relevant to executive support, continuously improving technical skills and knowledge.**
**Adhere to IT policies and procedures, ensuring data security and confidentiality.**
**Provide support to the home office, assisting with general IT needs and troubleshooting.**
**Collaborate with field support technicians on various projects, providing expertise and assistance as needed.**
**Travel to different locations to set up and manage AV systems for conferences and webinars, ensuring smooth and professional events.**
**Provide technical support for webinars, including setup, troubleshooting, and user assistance.**
**Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.**
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:**
**In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android), and networking technologies.**
**Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently.**
**Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executive staff and convey technical information clearly and concisely.**
**Exceptional customer service orientation, demonstrating patience, empathy, and a commitment to exceeding user expectations.**
**Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.**
**Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity applications.**
**Experience with remote support tools and techniques.**
**Experience with setting up and managing AV systems, including microphones, speakers, projectors, and video conferencing equipment.**
**Knowledge of webinar platforms and best practices for delivering online presentations.**
**Familiarity with IT security best practices and data protection measures.**
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:**
**Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.**
**Minimum of 3 years of experience providing IT support in a corporate environment, with at least 1 year specifically supporting executive or VIP users.**
**Relevant certifications (A+, Network+, MCSA, etc.) are highly preferred.**
**Experience with VIP support, executive level interaction, and a strong understanding of confidentiality requirements.**
**Additional Considerations:**
**This role may require frequent travel to provide on-site support to executive staff at different locations and for conferences/webinars.**
**Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours may be necessary to address urgent issues or accommodate executive schedules and event requirements.**
