Group/Division

KLA is well known for its high-performing business model which routinely produces significant profit margins and revenue. Key to supporting KLA business is the finance team that partners with corporate and global business organizations to provide expertise and guidance for developing and executing sound business models and practices. The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team on the best course of action. The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Responsible for implementing and maintaining a Product Model Configuration System (Variant Configurator) within SAP R/3 or S/4 HANA. The maintenance of this system will include changes and updates to product configurations, and implementation of new product models in the Variant Configurator in SAP. Responsible for establishing and maintaining communications with configuration analysts, engineering services, marketing, sales, engineering, and manufacturing within the assigned product divisions to ensure appropriate changes are documented, tested, and implemented correctly. Specific tasks include but not limited to, creation of materials, BOMs, classes, characteristics, values and dependencies, select conditions, configuration profiles, user interface design, procedures, constraints, dependency nets, variant tables, material variant, ALEing, and pricing conditions with pricing procedures. Also, testing and validation of the resulting product model with the appropriate business owner, which includes debugging and resolving any outstanding issues to the satisfaction of our business units.

Qualifications:

Skills and knowledge of SAP Variant Configuration modeling practices is a must. Our ideal candidate should be able to implement complex modeling requirements and provide robust VC solutions, and have worked in a similar field; or at least have the aptitude and necessary skills and educational background to learn any of the needed requirements if the candidate has not been exposed to some of the required VC skills. Our candidate should also be extremely detail oriented, process oriented, and able to create robust solutions.


Preferred Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in a related field such as CS, MIS, Information Science, Computer Programming, System Analysis, or a similar field of study1 - 3 years of SAP R/3 or S/4 HANA Variant Configuration is a mustExperience in Material Variant is a big plusExperience in Order BOM process and functionality is desirableExperience with Variant Tables is desirableExperience in high-tech industry (discrete manufacturing)Experience in importing external config rules/variables/bills of materials into the system is desirableAbility to work with the business in defining requirements and resolving gaps/issues by coming up with creative solutions

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0-1 year related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 2-3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years or more
