We are looking for an Associate Leak Survey Technician to join our team!
Important Note: This role is considered safety sensitive, and as such, you may be required to undergo various background screenings. This may include but is not limited to a driving record abstract, criminal check, a company sponsored medical and drug testing.
What You Will Do:To conduct all instrumented Leak Surveys & Atmospheric inspections, as required by Enbridge Utah Western standard practices and compliance. Maintain facilities and leak survey equipment. Performs other duties as assigned. Performs leak survey inspections, which include 5 Yr. annual, Business District, Selective Buildings, Accelerated Mobile Leak Survey, Inside Meter, and Non-Jurisdictional inspections (monitoring and troubleshooting). Support Leak Survey department projects. Assist and interaction with contractors and or Enbridge colleagues. Support and perform special leak survey tasks for other departments. Interacts with region and area personnel with special inspections and monitoring. Complies with all company Standard Practices and DOT requirements. Perform other duties as requested and completing DOT related inspections and related tasks.
Who You Are:0-2 years related experience. Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater can be considered one year. –Basic knowledge of leak survey principles. –Basic knowledge of atmospheric/corrosion principles. – Basic Knowledge of Enbridge leak survey and atmospheric corrosion principles. – Basic knowledge of DOT regulations pertaining to leak survey and atmospheric/corrosion requirements.
Ability to understand and complete written and oral instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively orally.
Ability to see objects at close range.
Ability to see in the distance and to determine the distance and relationship between objects. Ability to match or discriminate between colors.
Ability to detect odors related to natural gas.
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: High School Graduate
Required Degree (equivalency not accepted in lieu of required degree): GED

Physical Requirements (Include but are not limited to):Balancing, bending and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying (up to 100 pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (objects up to 100 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement, grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 100 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.
