The Application Teams of the Cybersecurity and Applications Practice are responsible for managing the Assurance IT Ecosystem. A key task of the IT Ecosystem is the automation and digitalization of the Siemens Assurance processes. 

A DevOps team, consisting of product owners, software developers, and AI experts, has been established to develop and operate the required IT applications. As a member of the DevOps team, you are responsible for identifying and developing AI-based digital solutions to optimize the Assurance IT Ecosystem functionality. 

You will work closely with various Assurance departments and, together with the other members of the DevOps team, ensure the timely implementation of innovation, digitalization, and automation solutions using AI. 

What you’ll be doing. 

As an Associate (m/f/d) focus Data Science you should take Ownership to define and implement an AI strategy for our Risk and Internal Control (RIC) environment and create the best possible solutions for real business problems. 

Data Engineering: Drive the alignment with cross-functional teams / stakeholder to understand Assurance related business requirements and translate them into an AI-strategy and data science solutions, leveraging cloud platforms for data science. Data Analytics: Utilize your expert programming skills in Python and knowledge of AI/ML frameworks to develop and deploy machine learning models for various applications. Define best CF A specific adaption of GenAI development Tools and Frameworks (e.g. Promptflow, LangChain) to allow for optimal building production-ready GenAI Applications.  Data Science: Identify, define and implement ML/AI Ops best practices, including versioning, monitoring, continuous improvement, and deployment of machine learning models in production environments. Explore and utilize advanced data science techniques to extract insights from complex datasets. Technology and Solution Development: Define and ensure smooth development and maintenance of complex data science pipelines, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Further steer the integration of data science solutions within the RIC Tool (Oracle APEX based) environment. Take responsibility for the definition and implementation of a global communication and learning strategy for new AI-based features within the RIC Tool Ecosystem, align the approach with peer Product Owners at CF A and ensure digital transformation and adoption by our global RIC community. 

What it takes

At least 5+ years of professional experience in data science and machine learning, including the development and deployment of machine learning models within Siemens, a technology company, or a respected assurance and consulting firm. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics or similar.  Expert know-how in programming with Python, including experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.  Proficiency with cloud platforms for data science, such as Azure, OpenShift, including data storage, processing, and model deployment capabilities.  Good knowledge on GenAI Development Tools and Frameworks, particularly Promptflow, or a strong willingness to independently familiarize yourself with them.  Solid knowledge of ML/AI Ops best practices, including model versioning, monitoring, and deployment in production environments.  At least 3 years of project management experience with track record on delivering and operating AI-based solutions Self-organized way of working, in a structured and accurate manner as a reliable team player sharing best practices and focusing on results.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets to extract meaningful insights.  Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and present developments and concepts to non-technical stakeholders.   Fluency in German, English is a plus.
