BODYARMOR is looking for an Associate Manager, Category – Procurement to join our team.

The Associate Manager, Category – Procurement is a leader responsible for the development, execution, and implementation of a complete Category Strategy for all key material categories by collaborating with key stakeholders, team members, and leaders affected by the respective category(s). Reporting into the Director of Procurement, this individual will drive category and spend management across key categories to support BODYARMOR’s brand growth and align with business spend objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership role responsible for partnering closely with Procurement Director and BODYARMOR Operations, Technical, and other functional teams to achieve key cost benefit projects in support of a healthy P&LManage supplier bids, more complex negotiations, and execution of commercial terms for assigned category groupsCreate and implement category sourcing strategy across landscape including incumbent, new, and outgoing suppliersDeliver, optimize & maintain more complex sourcing strategies for key medium to high spend categories to achieve overall organizational objectivesAlign with key internal stakeholders (Financial Operations) to develop and accurately document key analysis, such as cost modeling, risk assessments, market analysis, and benchmarkingManage and accurately maintain all pricing within ERP system with ongoing reconciliation with the Finance departmentPartner with both internal stakeholders and key external vendors to successfully manage new supplier implementationsManage Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system: supplier performance scorecard, governance, and regular business reviewsEvaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry research and cost models to align and consistently reconcile with demand and volume data

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree requiredHybrid schedule in Whitestone, New York (in-office Tuesday-Thursday) required4 years of Procurement or relevant Operations experience requiredCategory specific experience:Experience in Ingredients, Packaging, CoPack Manufacturing, or LogisticsKnowledge of best sourcing practices required (RFP, SRM, sourcing strategy)Beverage experience in similar role preferredProven skills in managing suppliers, negotiations, and cross functional networkingProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite requiredGood knowledge of supplier or third-party management softwareStrong interpersonal skills, and proven ability as a team player and contributorEnthusiasm for problem solving and analytical thinking10% Travel to supplier portfolio may be required by car or plane

Pay Range:

$85,300 - $101,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.

Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage:

7.5
