To lead and operationalise Safety, Health, Environment and Security (SHE&S) management system to improve on SHE&S awareness and culture at Kitaibaraki

To lead engineering activities and coordinate with contractors to ensure plant improvement and reliability of equipment and utilities of the plant.

Your key responsibilities

SHE&S Responsibilities:

To lead the operationalisation of dsm-firmenich global / regional SHE&S requirements at KitaibarakiEnsuring compliance to dsm-firmenich requirements, and local law and regulations, whichever, is higher. Upkeep of SHE&S SOPs, records and regulatory documents for siteConduct Observation tours or inspections on SHE&S practices and behaviours, and recording deviation. Track and monitor action items closure, and compile status on monthly basis.                                                                                                          

​​​​​​​Engineering Responsibilities:

Planning engineering resources through systematic review all line, processes, and utilities that are critical to the business and those where failure can have an unacceptable impact on safety, personnel safety, food safety, environment, or compliance with the law.Monitor plant/equipment trends to ensure best possible operation and reduction of planned/unplanned downtime. Propose and monitor key performance indicators in accordance with the Best Maintenance Practices.

You bring

3 years of experience in Food manufacturing or FMCG in related HSE or engineering.                                                                                        Native level Japanese to work with stakeholders. Willingness to learn EnglishExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsUnderstanding of regulatory requirements for food safetyGood interpersonal skillProficient of computer programs (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Ability to adjust quickly to changing demandsExcellent organizational skills
