Associate Manager, Finance | MAF Properties | Asset Management Business Unit

ROLE SUMMARY
The position is responsible to ensure adequacy of internal control environment, ensuring Globsl Solutions delivery of services, Forecast, review and report balance sheet, review and report on receivables & collections, support department head in working capital management, financial statement review, Joint Venture reporting and drive along with business and department head various Finance Transformation & Business process optimisation projects at Majid Al Futtaim Properties.

ROLE PROFILE

Receivables and Working Capital Management:Monitor working capital and prepare fortnightly/monthly reports detailing billing, collections, AR (Accounts Receivable), and provision analysis.Receivables and Working Capital Management: Set and review collection targets with mall and country teams and analyze performance.Balance Sheet Management: Prepare and forecast annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and strategic balance sheets and Address corporate queries and provide explanations for balance sheet movements.Policy Adherence and Values Alignment: Advocate company policies and values, ensuring compliance and fostering an honest, collaborative work environment.Internal Controls and Audits: Assist in internal/external audit processes and ensure adherence to corporate governance standards as well as Address and resolve ARMS (Audit Recommendation Management System) issues through coordination with teams.Accounting Analysis Support: Collaborate with accounting teams for monthly close numbers and review receivables-related accounts.Reporting and Analysis: Generate detailed monthly financial impact reports and liaise with IT for automating and developing Power BI reports for enhanced analysis.Mentoring and Leadership: Guide and mentor direct reports, build capabilities, and identify opportunities for professional development.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be a qualified accountant with CA, ACCA, or CPA certification.5-7 years of post-qualification experience in finance, controllership, or related fields.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in financial transformation/automation.Strong ability to analyze and interpret financial data for reporting and decision-making.Proven ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.Solid understanding of internal controls, audit processes, and corporate governance principles.
