Associate Manager, Forensic Investigations and Intelligence

Day-to-day Responsibilities: 

 

Kroll’s São Paulo office is seeking an Associate Manager, who will supervise engagements, ensure that the investigative plan is followed by the team, analyze information collected through public and commercial databases, prepare and review reports and oral briefings for clients.  

 

Follows investigative plans, assigning tasks for each team member and keeping track of their work to ensure they are within scope, timeframe and budget. Supervises the assignments and production of deliverables. Conducts research of companies, individuals, events, by using a wide array of sources: public databases, commercial and proprietary databases, and the internet. Conducts research through site visits and interviews of sources identified. Analyzes Client-provided data, such as financial records, internal documents and policies. Organizes findings methodically to facilitate analysis and reporting. Verifies and corroborates pertinent and noteworthy findings. Identifies gaps and follows leads within parameters of objectives, timeframe and budget. Presents accurate, relevant and robust findings to clients

 

Essential Traits:

Strong research and analytical skills Bachelor’s degree required – preference for Accounting and Finance degrees, Law, International Relations and Journalism. Strong investigative abilities Prior investigative or research experience required Writing skills, including ability to quickly and effectively summarize information from multiple sources into concise analytical assessments. Financial proficiency and skills preferred. Experience in forensic accounting, investigations, business intelligence, finance or due diligence is a plus. Ability to prioritize several projects and assignments on multiple topics while meeting tight deadlines. Native/Fluent Portuguese and English. Spanish a plus
