Position Responsibilities:
· Communicate with internal and external constituencies on behalf of Chief of Cardiology & Chief of Primary Care
· Read, research and route correspondence and articles on behalf of chief of Cardiology and ensure that all document preparation including general correspondence, reports and presentations meet deadlines and are of high quality.
· Manages the work flow for all genetic testing kits in the concierge office to ensure that kits are properly completed by patients and prepare reports for patient & physician review.
· Maintains Dr. Lamas, Dr. Medina & Dr. Mechanic calendar by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences and teleconferences. Develop meeting agendas and take minutes as requested by the chief.
· Manage travel schedule, including travel itineraries and all travel arrangements for the Chief of Cardiology and physician candidates/recruits.
· Prepares and analyzes physician financial reports on an ongoing basis.
· Prepare reimbursement requests for signature and processing.
· Defines departmental goals/targets as well as the guidelines and practices to accomplish them.
· Develop file system, organize and maintain files (electronic & hard copies).
· Prioritizes and handles complex, confidential matters for all doctors in the concierge practice
· Special assignments as assigned by the doctors.
· Assist all physicians in writing patient-specific letters. Ensuring that each letter is tailored to the patient's request.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree preferred
· 3-5 years experience in a multi-physician practice setting / healthcare industry experience.
