Position Overview: 

The Associate Manager, Corporate Security is responsible for leading the team that helps ensure the safety and security of Acrisure employees, visitors, and assets.  The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the physical security team and managing security incidents.  This role will work closely with the Director of Security to ensure compliance with security protocols and regulations. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Oversee and coordinate daily operations of corporate security team by managing schedules to ensure adequate coverage  

Assist with oversight of corporate security team 

Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to maintain a safe and secure work environment 

Monitor and review security activities to identify gaps and recommend improvements  

Respond to and assist in all emergencies, including but not limited to fires, medical emergencies, and criminal activity  

Address security concerns and complaints promptly and effectively  

Maintain constant situational awareness of the property through both physical patrols and monitoring of CCTV  

Provide for the security of Acrisure employees, buildings, parking ramp, and surrounding areas  

Conduct investigations into security incidents and report findings to management  

Train employees on physical security systems and equipment  

Assist with emergency response planning and procedures  

Work with other departments to ensure compliance with security protocols  

Manage relationships with external security vendors  

Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Security 

 

Qualifications: 

High school diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree preferred. 

3+ years of security, law enforcement or related experience preferred 

Knowledge of Microsoft office applications   

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills 

Ability to positively interact with all levels   

Excellent verbal and written communication skills   

Professional demeanor and appearance, treating others with respect and consideration   

Ability to work independently, while also being able to contribute to a collaborative environment and provide and take direction   

High level of discretion and confidentiality   

Experience with enterprise level security systems   

Experience as a people leader   

Ability to assess potential risks, threats and vulnerabilities   

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail   

Medical first responder certification preferred 

Able to work flexible hours 

 

Physical Requirements: 

Work is completed in both an indoor, office environment and outside in all types of weather.  Must be able to stand, walk, and remain on foot for extended periods.  Must be able to climb stairs and lift equipment up to 50 pounds.  Ability to work in varying conditions, including extended shifts when needed.  Capacity to work in all weather conditions when patrolling outdoor areas.
