As anassociate manager of financial reporting on the GAAP Reporting team, you'll manage a team of financial reporting specialists who work closely with the business unit control groups to ensure compliance for accurate financial reporting. In this role, you’ll monitor accounting changes, update accounting and reporting policies and procedures, and ensure journal entries and reconciliations are performed by corporate financial reporting standards. As the subject matter expert for accounting concepts, financial reporting rules, industry practices, and company policies and procedures, you’ll be responsible for account reconciliations, journal entries, reporting accounting issues, and assessing and implementing accounting changes.
This is a hybrid role located in Mayfield Village, OH.
Must-have qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or related field of study (e.g., Finance) and a minimum of 6 years accounting experience, with at least 4 years in a specialized area (e.g. reinsurance, investments), financial reporting, or public accounting experiencePreferred skills
