Associate Manager-Global Incident Management

As part of Protection and Resilience, the Global Incident Management function, located within Allianz Mauritius, performs security monitoring around the clock and manages incidents for entities out of the Allianz Group. It operates in shifts alongside other operators for potential and active threats to keep Allianz’s people, assets, business continuity and high standing reputation safe around in today’s complex and everchanging environment.  


The Associate Manager has the responsibility to manage the daily tasks of the operators, maintain a good customer relationship and meet their business requirements. The candidate will also need to perform quality control on incident initial assessment and notification sent to stakeholders and communication shared with leadership. The role will involve leading a motivated team to deliver best-in class service in Protection & Resilience for global customers that fulfills regulatory and internal requirements. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a team of senior operators and night shift operators Onboarding of new clients and walking them through the team’s processes  Be the point of contact of Allianz stakeholders and manage customer requirements and expectations Be in regular contact with the clients to discuss KPIs, SLAs and areas for improvement Perform quality control on daily tasks and ensure relevant incidents are flagged within SLA Perform continuous improvement controls to ensure the team’s activities are fit for purpose Assess possible threats using an advanced security monitoring tool and various resources Maintain good relationships with third parties Facilitate communication with stakeholders to ensure incident resolution and subsequent closure Perform any cognate duties as may be assigned by the management 

 

Key Requirements:

University degree in Information Technology or Information Security   At least 6 years of working experience in the IT sector and in Incident management  Good leadership skills, self-motivated, autonomous, proactive, and customer-centric working style 

 

Key Skills: 

High fluency in English; additional fluency in multiple languages is highly appreciated  Excellent communication skills, high level of self-organization, and critical thinking ability  High comfort level with IT tools  Computer literacy in MS Office (good knowledge of Excel/Power Point)  Ability to work under pressure and act with sense of urgency when time is of essence and the situation requires an action with given information at hand  Well-developed social skills and cross-cultural experience (ability to operate within a global team environment / work within global virtual teams)
