Associate Manager - Regulatory Affairs

The position is part of the Global Regulatory Affairs department. You will be part of a team of eight colleagues with a great team spirit and will be based in the Campus Brabrand in Denmark. The scope of the job is within the EAME (Europe, Africa and Middle East) region supporting primarily our celluloses and alginates portfolio.

Responsibilities

Oversee regulatory compliance within the business portfolio, maintaining a strong customer focus and clear accountability.Represent and advocate for IFF in industry groups, leading initiatives in pharmaceuticals, food, feed, personal care, and industrial applications.Provide regulatory advice to internal and external stakeholders, consulting on the business portfolio.Prepare and submit regulatory filings for ingredients approvals and re-evaluations and liaise with authorities (e.g. EFSA and European Commission) during the approval process.Ensure that products comply with regulatory requirements to maintain market approvals, notifying relevant parties internally or externally as necessary.Monitor, review and interpret changes in legislation, and provide updates and guidance to the business on potential impacts to maintain compliance.Provide regulatory support for business projects, product launches, and marketing promotion.

Professional qualifications

Master of Sciences in chemistry, pharmacy, biochemistry or related fields.Min. 6 years experience in regulatory affairs in the food, pharmaceutical or related industries.Experience in interacting with regulatory agencies.Ability to translate complex matters into simple messages.Excellent communication skills.Fluency in English.Experienced use of IT.
