**Job Description:**
**Principal Accountabilities**
+ Oversee all new EDI projects from an IT perspective.
+ Collaborate with Third-party on-shore and off-shore resources in order to support all aspects of EDI.
+ Must establish and enforce organizational standards
+ Provide an effective EDI interface and coordinate with all external trading partners and monitor all existing communication systems.
+ Manage all communication with IT resources, business partners and external trading partners to assist to develop all EDI applications.
+ Ensure all EDI maps to compliant to all business requirements and analyze all EDI implementations and recommend improvements to processes.
+ Ensure testing scenarios are sound and provide sufficient proof of effectiveness.
+ Leverage continuous improvement methods and processes to ensure EDI environment is highly available, efficient and cost effective.
+ Monitor and documents all EDI requests and track all applications and participate in IT meetings as needed and monitor progress for same in coordination with the functional stream lead, business partners and as well as the stream lead’s manager.
+ Ensure EDI solutions and are documented as per specifications.
+ Act as communication point for issue escalation for ITS Business Partner organizations and other ITS Delivery Engines.
+ Provide general oversight of Service Provider Ticket Handling activity, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions is achieved and proper root cause analysis is completed in order to eliminate recurring incident issues.
**Preferred Qualifications and Experience**
+ BA or BS in a Computer Science or Information systems related discipline
+ Minimum 10+ years of experience implementing EDI documents
+ Expert Analytical Skills
+ Experience with SAP EDI
+ Ability to guide an EDI technical team
+ Experience in managing EDI projects
+ Experience with EDI and SAP integration (EDI outputs, IDOCS, ANSI, partner profiles, master data)
+ Familiarity with mapping software (i.e. IBM Sterling, Gentran)
+ Familiarity with XML.
+ Experience with database performance, structure, security, and maintenance
+ Experience working in a global or similarly structured organization
+ Experience working with the off-shore resourcing model.
+ Experience working with third-party external business partners and their technical teams
+ Experience working with application development teams
+ Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Healthcare industry experience is a plus
