We are seeking an exceptional leader to drive our Data UI Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) Center of Excellence. This pivotal role will be responsible for establishing world-class testing practices for data visualization, user interfaces, and data-driven applications. The successful candidate will enhance value delivery, drive innovation, optimize resources, and elevate the strategic importance of Data UI BAT within Allianz.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1.    Strategy and Leadership: 

Develop and implement standardized BAT methodologies for data visualization tools, dashboards, and data-driven user interfaces Lead the establishment and growth of the Data UI BAT Center of Excellence Drive continuous improvement and innovation in data UI testing practices Collaborate with data science, analytics, and UI/UX teams to align BAT strategies with data-driven business objectives

 

2.    Operational Excellence: 

Enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness across all data UI applications and platforms Implement and oversee automation initiatives to increase test coverage for data-driven interfaces Reduce testing cycle times while maintaining or improving quality metrics for data UI systems Optimize resource allocation and utilization within the Data UI BAT CoE

 

3.    Stakeholder Management: 

Improve stakeholder satisfaction among data analysts, business intelligence teams, and end-users of data UI applications Integrate Data UI BAT representatives into major data visualization and analytics project steering committees Conduct regular strategy sessions with senior leadership in data and analytics departments Develop and present case studies demonstrating Data UI BAT's impact on data-driven decision making and user experience

 

4.    Innovation and Best Practices: 

Establish a Data UI BAT innovation lab to explore and implement cutting-edge testing technologies for data visualization and UI Develop and publish best practice guides for testing complex data UIs and dashboards Drive the adoption of new testing methodologies such as visual AI testing, accessibility testing for data UIs, and user experience validation

 

5.    Team Development: 

Create and implement comprehensive upskilling programs for team members in data visualization tools, UI/UX principles, and data analytics Foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration with data science and UI design teams Implement skills-based routing systems to optimize resource allocation for data UI testing projects

 

6.    Performance Management: 

Set and achieve ambitious KPIs for testing efficiency, quality, and user satisfaction in data UI systems Implement robust feedback loops and action improvement suggestions from data analysts and end-users Regularly report on Data UI CoE performance and strategic value to senior leadership

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related fields, with a strong focus on data-driven applications and user interfaces 5+ years of leadership experience in a global, enterprise-level IT environment, preferably in data analytics or business intelligence Deep understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices specific to data visualization, dashboards, and data-driven UIs Strong knowledge of data analytics platforms, visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and modern UI/UX principles Proven track record of driving innovation and implementing large-scale transformations in data UI testing Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, particularly with data science and analytics teams Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially related to data interpretation and visual representation Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices in data-driven application development Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, IREB, data visualization certifications) are a plus
