Associate Market Manager PORTUGAL - Lisbon office
This role is the core on which the Market Management team is based. This team ensures that the Expedia brands’ global travelers always find the most suitable product for their dream trip, and that our partners can effectively, efficiently and throughout the year, reach Expedia’s full breadth of global travelers' demand.
What you'll do:
The Associate Market Manager’s (AMM) main responsibility is to develop and sustain strong partner relationships
With a "traveler centric" mindset you will drive value for partners and improve their experience. In doing this you will propose enhancements based on partners’ unique situations and structuring solutions that add partner value and enthusiastically create "win-win" situations by suggesting Expedia Group products, features, services or solutions. Fundamentally, you'll be a relationship manager who establishes and maintains positive, and trusting relationships with partners
You are a voice of wisdom to your hotel partners, helping them optimize their production potential from their participation in the Expedia marketplace by providing relevant data insights and high-quality consulting services to hotel partners (revenue management advice, marketing opportunities, etc.) The ultimate goal being to maximize customer conversion
You will build and dynamically expand your portfolio of local hotel partners by introducing prospective high potential partners to Expedia’s global value proposition and facilitating their onboarding process.
You will secure additional inventory over high demand and compression periods to satisfy customers’ pressing needs and secure seasonal deals, evergreen and dynamic promotions within the guidelines set by Management to support the brands’ merchandising and marketing efforts
Who You Are:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
Written & Spoken Communication, Listening and Influencing skills
Proficient in English and Portuguese.
Bridges and sustains solid partnerships based on mutual support through a shared style
Solution Alignment: appetite for innovative technology, constantly evolving business environment, data driven decision making. Demonstrates problem solving skills
Ability to select and present insightful dataset including performance, market and competitor analysis and to implement meaningful action plans based on the data
Presents ideas and directives clearly and persuasively; actively listens when spoken/presented to
Proven follow up/persistent when facing challenging situations
Ability to effectively communicate to various levels and through a variety of communication channels
