The **Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS)** has an exciting opportunity for an **Associate Material Management Specialist** to join the Flight Simulation Team located in **Berkeley MO** . This position is part of the Flight Simulation Labs Operations team and the applicant will be working in a fast pace environment supporting flight simulation systems through our Logistics Resource Team. **Position Responsibilities:** + Maintain products, materials and processes to meet regulatory requirements and ensure consistent quality + Use standard guidelines to stage material, verify products meet regulatory conformance and contractual compliance + Resolve discrepancies, defects and ensure issues are identified for resolution + Create and maintain tracking data and inputs information into engineering systems + Candidate must have strong people skills, self-motivated and excellent customer relation skills + Work well in a team environment **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + 3+ years of experience with Material Management and Inventory Control + 3+ years of experience with inventory management systems or database applications + 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + Experience with product management + Experience with electronic parts and equipment + Familiarity with Lab equipment Property Management requirements **Typical Education/Experience:** Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.). **Drug Free Workplace:** Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
