This position offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise in TV audience measurement, gain insights into the publisher advertising ecosystem, and contribute to industry benchmarking and trend analysis. You'll work with the biggest global publishers in the world, shaping the future of media analytics.In this role, you will explore and analyze TV data, create insightful reporting for our clients, and help inform their media planning decisions with the results you provide. This position will develop your skill set in research methodologies, client service, and data presentation.This is a hybrid role (3-4 days per week) out of our New York office.WHAT YOU'LL DO Assist in producing and analyzing large-scale TV audience measurement studiesContribute to meta-analyses synthesizing findings across various studies and publishers.Support benchmarking initiatives for global publishers by providing competitive insightsGenerate regular reports on key advertising metrics, including Tune In and Reach & FrequencyAnalyze large datasets to develop actionable insights for publisher clientsPrepare standardized research deliverables and custom benchmarking reportsCollaborate on trend analysis and industry-wide reporting across multiple publishersAssist in optimizing internal processes for efficient study production and meta-analysisMaintain light client relationships by addressing basic queries and requestsWHO YOU AREExperience working with major publisher-side clients in TV or digital mediaEnjoy analyzing data and solving problemsAre detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactiveExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including client presentationsCan communicate effectively to internal teams and clientsAre comfortable navigating ambiguous situationsAre comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projectsLearn quickly, with the ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidanceAre highly driven and excited to work with cutting-edge technologyBA/BS in business, marketing, economics, finance, statistics or related area of study2+ years work experience in a client service role in market research, technology, banking, advertising, or related field requiring data analysisProficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointKnowledge of advertising technology and campaign management systemsProficiency in programming languages like SQL, R or Python for advanced data analysisUnderstanding of industry-standard audience measurement tools and platformsExperience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)Familiarity with academic research methods and meta-analysis techniques$75,000 - $95,000 a yearSamba TV expects to offer a base salary between $75,000 - $95,000 USD per year for roles to be performed in New York or California; actual base salary offered will depend on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Base salary is just one component of Samba TV’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, short-term incentives and long-term incentives.
