The Associate Mental Health Counselor provides mental health/wellness counseling services to the community.
The Associate Mental Health Counselor is specifically developed for and limited to licensed interns: the incumbent must hold a valid licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Associate or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) Associate license with the state of Texas and must be making progress towards fulfilling state mandated supervised therapy hours for full licensure as an LPC or LMFT in Texas.

Required Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Behavioral Health Clinical Field; Community Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy Experience in direct delivery of counseling services General computer skills, Microsoft Word (and Microsoft Office Suite).
