ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS-
Be able to identify, interpret and apply market trends as they relate to the line.Ability to take direction from upper management and execute projects accordingly.Interpret feedback from sales force, accounts and various selling reports and market data.Plan and build a line within the time constraints of each season.Delegate projects to the design team and effectively guide designers through the design process and identify saleable designs and color stories.Responsible for managing and prioritizing designer development workload to ensure timely completion of projects.Assign target costing / wholesales to all outgoing projects.Work closely with Product Manager by directing what product is to be added to the line, establishing wholesale priced based on market needs and company margin requirements.Directing Product Manager with regard to de-specing product to achieve margin, refining details and monitoring line sheets.Ability to present line to upper management design group and suggest buys when appropriate.Monitoring internal “trend” report to suggest style/color additions, buys, drops, adjusts and reduces.Responsible for recognizing packaging needs for product and initiating projects packaging manager.Work with Technicians, Comm. team and allocations to ensure smooth commercialization process and timely X-Factory of goods.Work with QC team on maintaining quality standard and addressing any issues.Establish and maintain a sense of teamwork among design and product management teams.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES-

Footwear experience, preferably in seasonal product.B.A. preferred.The pay range for this position is $105,000-$135,000.
