Job Summary
This position exists to work with the LexisNexis Learning Experience team to design and produce graphics, video, e-learning and general multimedia assets for LexisNexis customer training and internal talent development programs. The position is responsible for a diverse range of assets that face customers and internal associates for training purposes.
Accountabilities:
Works with Learning Experience team to develop project plans and provide timely video and multimedia programs for internal and external customers; advise project partners on media choice based on need(s) as well as new technology options.Works with the Learning Experience team to learn the business and understand their needs as it relates to requested video and multimedia collateral.Works with the Learning Experience team to manage all pre-production functions including project requirements, appropriate scoping, program and production design, capture and editing schedules while securing project partner approvals throughout process as appropriate.Works with the Learning Experience team to manage post-production functions including Adobe Premier Pro digital editing, graphics/motion graphics creation, brand standard compliance and duplication, management of any external resources, and distribution.Remains current with established and emerging technologies including videography, audio production, graphic/animation, and eLearning.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree holder (preferably in Design, Art, Multimedia, Visual Design, or Technology)1 – 3 years’ experience in the Corporate Multimedia fieldStrong written and verbal communication, organizational and project management skills as interaction with all echelons of internal customer base is common and expectedSolid understanding of multimediaSolid knowledge of and experience with multimedia production software including Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects, Adobe Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, Camtasia; familiarity with motion graphics and animation software; and other digital media tools and editing equipment.Strong proficiency working with Microsoft Office and MS Office 365, including but not limited to, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, and Excel.Full range of video and multimedia production from planning, storyboarding, shooting, editing and publishing.Experience with product demo production including but not limited to screen capture, voice-over capture, editing, encoding and publishing to Internet channels.Demonstrated experience with, and presence in major Social Media Channels (YouTube, Twitter)Strong decision making and problem solving skillsDesign portfolio and video reel required for considerationBasic knowledge and ability to work with existing HTML, CSS and JavaScript is a plusExperience with instruction design principles and adult learning methodologies is a plusExperience with eLearning development platforms; Articulate Storyline, Articulate RISE, and or Adobe Captivate is a plusExperience with virtual meeting software; Adobe Connect, WebEx, Lync, Real Presence, Zoom, Microsoft TeamsLexisNexis, a division of RELX, is an equal opportunity employer: qualified applicants are considered for and treated during employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, citizenship status, disability status, protected veteran status, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.
