Associate National Accounts Manager

For more information, visit www.everonsolutions.com or follow us on LinkedIn. **Position Summary:  ** The Associate National Account Manager will assist National Account Managers to develop new accounts, as well as maintain and improve existing client relationships across a large territory. Associate NAM will assist NAM with ongoing communication with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Associate NAM will also drive prospecting of potential new customers by establishing initial contact and building rapport with prospects, resulting in an initial presentation / meeting between the prospect and the NAM. Associate NAM will track and provide regular ongoing reports relating to success prospecting activity. Associate NAMs may travel to customer / prospective customer locations either with the NAM, or at the request of the NAM. Associate NAM’s will typically work remotely. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Gather information on prospective clients (e.g., company size, point of contact, financial information, etc.) + Contact clients to identify needs and assist NAM with sales strategy. + Provide after-sales support to retain customers + Ensure prompt and accurate answers to clients’ queries + Assist NAM in building strong client relationships through ongoing communication + Report on the status of accounts + Assist NAM in communicating product and pricing details clearly + Coordinate with NAMs to create customized sales plans for key clients + Assist NAM as needed to promote new products / services to existing customers + Assist the installation, service, and billing departments as required. + Assist in creation / coordination of site surveys + Assist / process Riders for existing customers + Perform all other duties and projects as assigned. **_Qualifications - External_** **Skills:** + Computer skills with expertise in MS Office applications. + Must have a fundamental understanding of customer service, and the ability to demonstrate empathy when assisting a customer.  + Must have strong communication skills, and the ability to communicate with internal and external customers at all levels, from field support, to middle management to executive level. + Must have skills in interpersonal relations, business acumen, and written and oral communication.   **Abilities:** + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals and professional journals as a tool to identify prospective new customers.  + Ability to assist NAM in effectively presenting information and respond to questions from prospective or existing clients. + Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form, as well as the ability to read and comprehend blueprints, including floor plans, riser diagrams, sprinkler plans and HVAC plans. **Physical Demands: ** + While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle, push, pull or feel; and talk and hear.  The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms.   + The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Must be able to carry a lap top computer and other necessary demonstration equipment when visiting customers. + Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. + Must be able to drive a motor vehicle while seated for extended periods, and be able to drive at night. + Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. **Work Environment: ** + The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. + Must be able to travel in an automobile as needed to visit customers, Everon branches, etc. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree, or recognized equivalent experience, preferably with a concentration in business and marketing + One (1) year industry experience preferred.  **Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: ** + Applicable state and local licenses as required. + Must have valid driver’s license issued by the state in which they reside and proper automobile registration and proof of insurance.
