ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
Univision Orlando has an immediate opening for a part-time temp associate news producer. This role involves supporting the news production team in newsgathering, building the news rundowns, writing scripts, selecting video and graphics, coordinating with reporters and editors, and ensuring smooth newscast execution for television and digital platforms
 

ABOUT YOU:
You are an enthusiastic self-starter who loves working with people, is detail oriented, and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.
 

YOUR DAY-DAY:

Assist in writing, editing, and formatting scripts for news segments.

Research news topics, fact-check information, and contribute to editorial decisions.

Select and edit video clips, coordinate with graphic designers, and ensure visual elements align with news stories.

Help organize and maintain the rundown using newsroom software (e.g., ENPS, iNews).

Assist in managing live shots, coordinating with field reporters, and handling breaking news coverage.

Support online news production by updating websites and posting content on social media.

Work closely with producers, anchors, reporters, and technical staff to ensure smooth execution of newscasts.

YOU HAVE:

TV Production Certificate from a recognized Technical College or 5 years’ experience in the field

Must have working knowledge of television news rundowns and technology.

Strong understanding of news gathering ethical and legal issues

Fluent in English and Spanish (read and write)

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United Stated on a full-time basis
