Associate Occupational Health Trainer

Location: Mt. Sterling, IL
Department: Occupational Health and Safety
Reports To: Occupational Health Manager
Salary Range: $45,977- $68,966 annually, plus bonus opportunity

As an Associate Occupational Health Trainer, you will assist the Physical Therapist in managing the daily activities of the Physical Therapy Center.   

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Communicating effectively with patients, co-workers, and management via in-person, telephonic, and written communication Promotes and provides prevention and exercise services to patients Assists patients in achieving his/her optimal level of functioning Assist the physical therapist in scheduling, calling patients, and patient care Completes applicant physical ability tests as needed Creates and executes physical therapy center marketing plan Reports on key performance metrics each period

 

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s degree in athletic training, exercise science, or kinesiology. Ability to resolve complex problems and make independent decisions. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Strong knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word.

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

Ability to interact well with employees and dependents. Strong personal motivation toward personal learning. Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.

ROLE SPECIFICS

Schedule – Mon-Fri day shift hours. Travel – Occasional overnight travel (2-3 times per year) to attend seminars and meetings to develop professional expertise. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
