The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards. **Salary Range** $46,400.00 - $76,600.00 **Target Openings** 1 **What Is the Opportunity?** InsuraMatch is a national independent agency, owned by Travelers Insurance, that has launched a new business division focusing on commercial lines business, with an Excess and Surplus (E&S) focus. The new venture has become a key strategy for the agency as it seeks to diversify its business operations and help advance key strategic objectives of Travelers. As a Wholesale/E&S Operations Assistant, you will work within our Underwriting team assisting the front-end processing of applications, assisting retail agents along with working closely with the Director of Operations. This position may be based 100% remotely or in one of our office locations. **What Will You Do?** + Work with the underwriting team on incoming Commercial Lines applications to ensure all required information and supplemental forms are input into our agency management system to allow for risk evaluation and rating. + Work with Retail Agents on the onboarding process, affidavit & due diligence forms, licensing, E&O updates and report management. + Assist Team with ordering of inspections. + Policy review, checking and delivery to agents. + Review and process requests for policy cancellations, endorsements, and reinstatements, subject to consultation with Underwriter. + Assist in queueing up policies for renewal consideration. + Promptly address inquiries from agents, policyholder, or prospects, subject to guidance, where needed, from Underwriter or Director. + Work with Director of Operations on review and submission of surplus lines tax filings with assigned vendor. + Perform other duties as assigned. **What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?** + 1-3 years of current insurance service experience preferred. + Ability to prioritize, highly organized, able to multi-task in order to meet deadlines. + Ability to demonstrate effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills. + Excellent time management and organization skills. **What is a Must Have?** + Some knowledge of insurance coverage forms and their application. + 1 years of demonstrated experience in insurance service practices and procedures. **What Is in It for You?** + **Health Insurance** : Employees and their eligible family members – including spouses, domestic partners, and children – are eligible for coverage from the first day of employment. + **Retirement:** Travelers matches your 401(k) contributions dollar-for-dollar up to your first 5% of eligible pay, subject to an annual maximum.
