Associate Partner Manager

We are looking for an Associate Partner Manager to help manage complex, highly technical banking and fintech relationships with key external fintech partners essential to our business, as well as supporting cross-functional internal stakeholders on projects and priorities. You will assist with day-to-day relationship management and execution of critical workstreams with partners. This includes project and cost management, monitoring partner performance, maintaining partner accountability, and overseeing operational processes. Further, you will collaborate closely with the rest of the partnerships team to develop and implement processes in order to improve overall partner management and work streams with other internal stakeholders. 

What you’ll do:

Prioritize and own multiple cross functional end-to-end work streams to ensure projects are executed with precision and delivered on time. Teams include external partners such as Marketing, Legal/compliance, Member Support, Fraud, Banking Operations, Product, Engineering Build rapport with our external partners, establishing trust and strong working relationships Own and enhance existing processes with internal and external teams by collaborating closely with various stakeholders and creating detailed documentation for reference Track project status, reports, action items, and communicate the status of projects to all stakeholders Lead meetings and calls, ensuring all stakeholders are prepared with clear agendas and materials to achieve desired meeting outcomes; capturing and tracking follow ups and action items Partner with cross functional counterparts to troubleshoot and resolve partner incidents, outages, and technical issues reported Escalate and communicate clear expectations with partners and internal stakeholders when appropriate Delegate projects to teams and partners as necessary, ensuring delivery against timelines and priority is maintained and communicated Work with the rest of the partnerships team to stay aligned with overall partner management strategies, economics, contracts, and process improvements

Minimum Basic Requirements:

3+ years of project and/or partner management experience (tech, fintech, banking project management exposure a plus)

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical proficiency; ability to build context and understand complex technical projects, jargon, and integrations Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; confidence in leading cross-functional team meetings to achieve results Exceptional professional judgment and strong sense of navigating relationship complexity Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability to fast paced environments, and ability to multitask and prioritize various projects at once Ability to build context and communicate direction to a wide range of audiences A detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational, follow through, and time management skills Good analytical skills and the ability to build and manipulate spreadsheets, structured reporting, and metrics (using Google Sheets/Excel) High energy, great attitude, and flexibility in a constantly-evolving team environment

It’s all part of a more comprehensive DEI strategy that helps level the playing field. The base salary range for this role is $110,978 plus equity and benefits.
