The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech I performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system.

Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: H.S. Diploma or GED. upon hire: Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician OR upon hire: Oregon Pharmacy Technician License.Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework/Training Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program. Inpatient experience. Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR).Why Join Providence?
