The individual will work closely with our New Business team by providing quotes and preparing proposals that contributes to the team achieving monthly sales targets. This role will reside out of our Burnaby Still Creek head office location, which is centrally located in the Willingdon Business Park near Brentwood Town Centre. This location is easily accessible by the Gilmore sky train station with many shops, restaurants and other amenities nearby. Requirements + Level 1 General Insurance License required + Minimum 6 months of experience, preferably 1-2 yrs in the Personal Insurance Division + Strong desire to learn personal lines insurance + Intermediate MS Office knowledge, with focus on MS Outlook, Excel and Word + Strong attention to detail and accuracy + Works well in a fast paced, client focused environment + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem solving and critical thinking skills + Excellent time management and proven ability to effectively prioritize work flow **A Day in the Life** + Manage the TOS.Opportunities inbox. + Track and ensure Personal Line’s Lead Quest inbox for the division is handled in a timely manner + Create Clients Epic account and Opportunity/Activity for advisor to follow up. + Assist with quoting new business in ARS and Carriers portal. + Assist advisors with creating UW submissions. + Formally corresponds with carrier underwriters to review quotes and get UW approval when required. + Prepare proposals, CSIO application and binders as per agency standards. + Assist with accounts receivable for new business issued by CSC new business advisors. + Ensure all related quoting information, questionnaire, applications and activities have been entered on the client’s file in the Broker Management System (EPIC). + Processes all documentation according to Hub workflows. + Continues professional development to enhance skills and abilities + Other projects, duties and responsibilities as assigned. **Where This Can Take You** We invest in our employees!
