**Job Summary and Qualification**
Position Summary This position is an entry level financial analyst role who will work closely with the Finance Manager and perform the role of assistant controller for the Field, Acquisitions, and International teams as assigned. As well as support the Managers responsible for Field Operations. This position will review invoices, contracts, prepare journal entries and financial analysis for the Field, Acquisitions, and International areas as assigned. This position will work closely with the manager on budgeting and other financial operations for Field Operations.
Major Responsibilities:
• Budgeting and forecasting for Field, Acquisitions, and International areas as assigned.
• Financial analysis and month end financial reporting for Field, Acquisitions, and International areas as assigned.
• Helps prepares presentations and assist manager with financial readouts.
• Become knowledgeable of information technology topics; including types of hardware/software, vendors, acronyms and how ITG supports the HCA enterprise.
Finance:
• Reviews contracts, invoices, purchase requisitions, contract labor requests for proper HCA & GAAP treatment, department budget approval, sales tax treatment, project accounting, and total cost of ownership
• Allocates expenses to other ITG departments or HCA business units
• Prepares monthly journal entries including reclasses and accruals
• Prepares monthly financial reporting packages and monthly opex and capex projections
• Researches and analyzes monthly financial general ledger actuals, budget and material variances
• Helps create portions of the ITG opex and capex budgets
Operations:
• Develops vendor and ITG colleague relationships as needed to execute financial operations
• Researches to understand software and hardware companies, products, and solutions
• Develops an understanding of ITG culture, acronyms, and language to communicate with ITG leadership
• Navigates sociopolitical pressures within broader organization
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement.”
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree Finance or Accounting required
• Master's degree preferred
CPA preferred
Up to one year of experience in financial analysis or auditing required
