Associate Presentation Designer
**Job Description** **_Please include your portfolio and/or PowerPoint slide samples highlighting template design with your application._** Under general supervision, uses professional knowledge and graphics software skills, obtained through education and experience, to collaborate with others to design, develop, and create presentations and pitch materials for Investment Banking. Contributes to defined work or projects of moderate scope and complexity. Direction is provided to direct varied work that is somewhat difficult in character, requiring evaluation, originality, and ingenuity to make moderately complex decisions. Supervised contact with internal and external customers and vendors may be required. **Responsibilities:** + Makes contributions to the themes, ideas, and methods used in creating and producing PowerPoint Presentations, related assets, and pitch materials. + Under limited supervision, delivers design solutions that show initiative yet reflect provided direction. + Under limited supervision, consults with internal customers regarding design and associated costs. + Designs, and prepares graphics used in PowerPoint Presentations and pitch materials. + Makes contributions to graphics production activities and is accountable for quality assurance. + With direction, researches and selects graphic design ideas. + Ability to perform quality control review for own work and work produced by teammates. + Ensures that the file management system is maintained. + Remains current in presentation design trends and technologies. + Ability to quickly determine priorities in a self-directed work environment so that both creative and operational responsibilities are met. + Manages deadlines through communication. + Works under the guidance of a presentation specialist to grow skills and experience necessary to become a self-sufficient member of the Presentation Design team. + Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. **Modest knowledge of:** + Fundamental presentation design principles, methods, and practices + Fundamental presentation techniques, including design and layout. + Features and capabilities of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite. + Communication concepts, methods, and techniques. **Skill in:** + Producing creative work within an established organizational style and attention to detail. + Designing and producing presentation graphics materials using computer-based methods. + Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications. **Ability to:** + Apply creativity and imagination to graphics projects appropriately. + Work concurrently under pressure on multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. + Work effectively as part of a collaborative environment. + Understand a project request and extrapolate key information from it under the guidance of a manager. Understand and follow through on client objectives and requirements to provide a high level of customer service. + Communicate effectively and professionally with all organizational levels, both orally and in writing. + Develop creative solutions to design problems. + Build relationships with colleagues at similar levels, both within and outside the department. + Consistently demonstrate a sense of urgency. + Clearly demonstrate a client-first focus in line with the Raymond James culture. **Working Schedule:** + Hours: 11:00 am – 8:00 pm Eastern Time. Some additional hours may be required. **Travel Required:** + None required.
