**Job Summary**
Associate Principal, Medical Equipment Planning serves as high level expert resource for all projects across the division. This individual is recognized as an industry subject matter expert and works on our most highly technical complexity projects. Associate Principal will contribute to business development activities, process improvements, junior team member training to advance the MEQ practice and support designated project workload. You will be responsible for leading the medical equipment planning project lifecycle, from project kick-off, planning/design process, procurement, and logistics all the way through to project activation and go-live.

**Duties & Responsibilities:**
**Project Management**
+ Establishes a rapport with our client and the project owner to gain an understanding of their needs and expectations.
+ Tracks and manages project profitability.
+ Lead complex healthcare projects, overseeing all phases of medical equipment planning and implementation to ensure alignment with client goals and timelines.
+ Facilitate and manage multi-disciplinary on-site and remote project meetings involving clinical stakeholders, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure equipment decisions support overall project objectives.
+ Maintain project schedules and deliverables, ensuring milestones are met across planning, procurement, and installation phases.
+ Maintains and updates master project schedule information for use by the Introba project team.
+ Elevates any issues related to medical equipment to the Client’s project team and ensures they are tracked and addressed.
+ Provides project medical equipment budget updates to the project Owner as required.
+ Identifies situations where additional services are needed and works to generate add service proposals for the Client.
+ Coordinates with Introba procurement and logistics managers to ensure their project deliverables are met.
+ Travels to project sites on a regular basis for meetings, site inspections, and other coordination activities.
+ Fosters on-going client relationships and ensures overall client satisfaction is maintained.
+ Manages overall project lifecycle from inception through to lessons learned close-out including but not limited to planning, construction administration, procurement, and installations.
+ Reviews warehousing and other third-party payment requests and recommends approval or revision.
+ Serves as central communication point and frontline for addressing project expectations internally and externally.
+ Conducts internal and external project team project kick-off meetings for all managed projects.
+ Maintains project profitability within Introba guidelines.
+ Ensures project responsibility matrices adapted by the project team are in line with Introba contracted scope of work.
+ Client survey responses are favorable, and any reasonable client issues are promptly addressed.
+ Ensures internal project team completes and submits project deliverables on time.
+ Provides monthly invoicing and subtask planning information to Introba accounting in a timely manner.
+ Ensure complete project closeout checklists– project sheets, photos w/marketing, financial close-out memos, etc.
**Planning**
+ Lead complex healthcare projects, overseeing all phases of medical equipment planning and implementation to ensure alignment with client goals and timelines.
+ Facilitate and manage multi-disciplinary on-site and remote project meetings in conjunction with the medical equipment planners involving clinical stakeholders, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure equipment decisions support overall project objectives.
+ Track and manage changes in medical equipment scope, ensuring team shares updates to lists, costs, and schedules to client and are documented and communicated clearly.
+ Schedules and coordinates review meetings with client and associated design team members.
+ Reviews budget submittal documents to ensure they are accurate and correct.
+ Ensures equipment list sign-offs from end users are obtained by planners at the end of design development and construction document phases
+ Responsible for ensuring team’s posting submittals to Architects FTP sites on assigned due dates.
**Procurement**
+ Oversee project procurement manager progress to ensure milestones are being met based on the established procurement schedule.
+ Escalate and document communication to client when milestones are at risk, facilitate removing roadblocks that may be preventing the team from completing this scope on schedule.
**Construction Administration and Installation**
+ Performs pre-installation site walkthroughs with vendors and contractors to ensure site readiness in conjunction with medical equipment planners.
+ Supervising installation works and commissioning of medical equipment as needed or overseeing logistics managers who will support in these efforts for the project team.
+ Develop and maintain schedule for on-time delivery of equipment according to contractor/owner request on job dates.
**Mentoring/Training**
+ Provides support and mentors to MEQ colleagues to develop their knowledge and skills
+ Assists in training documentation and on-going training programs
**Project Work**
+ Maintain 70% approximate target utilization on billable project workload
+ Other duties as assigned
**Business Development**
+ Serves as Principal in Charge on Key Client Accounts for escalation of project issues for resolution
+ Develop business strategies to expand the Healthcare practice.
+ Assists in preparation of project proposals and attends meetings as a project representative, working to establish positive client relationships.
+ Attendance at Industry conferences and networking events.
**Travel**
+ Travels to project sites to support responsibilities as needed
**Professional Development**
+ Participates in industry conferences and promote image of trusted advisor to clients
+ Implements Continuous improvement activities to identify lessons learned and adjust process
**Qualifications:**
**Key Skill Requirements** **/Accountabilities / Demonstratable Skills**
+ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify coordination issues
+ Computer literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
+ Document control / Information management
+ Presentation skills
+ Preferred University Degree, Diploma or Higher Education Qualification in Healthcare, Biomedical Engineering or other Clinical Fields
+ Candidate has 10-20 years of experience in healthcare
+ Proven track record of leading, training and coaching teams
+ Highly organized, task driven, and able to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously
+ Strong attention to detail is required, as are excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
**Project Experience**
+ Candidate experienced in healthcare projects with demonstrated subject matter expertise in multiple areas of the medical equipment planning field.
+ Proven track record of acting as a portfolio manager and lead for healthcare system clients
+ Able to provide guidance on planning and installation requirements for complex medical equipment systems
