Key responsibilities for this role include:
Develop subject matter expertise for products and processes related to transdermal and/or oral dissolvable film technology in support of potential product stewardship.
Assist the development of multiple transdermal projects including intermediates and drug products, transdermal components and Medical Products Division customer and proprietary projects such as wound care devices with supervision.
Assist planning and execution of experimental trials with appropriate statistical designs. This includes drafting protocols, working on-line with production personnel and writing summary reports complete with mathematical models and statistical analysis to support conclusions.
Assist with capital projects through equipment sourcing and validation activities. This includes assisting in identifying equipment needs, and sourcing equipment through the capital project procurement process. The validation activities will include drafting URS, trace matrices, IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, and summary reports.
Assist providing technical support to regulatory staff during preparation of DMF submissions (for components) and NDA/ANDA submissions (for drug products).
Ensure that all project aspects are properly documented. This includes the use of laboratory notebooks, meeting summaries, project status reports, protocols and reports.
Provide technical support to Pharmaceutical and MPD manufacturing regarding equipment, materials, development and customer communications.
Assist in process problem solving.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of experience is preferred. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
Must possess knowledge of computers and engineering principles.
Must possess computer skills including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office 365. Must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with other Viatris departments and demonstrate the ability to resolve conflicts and solve problems dynamically.
