The Associate Producer / Contributing Host is responsible booking guests; contributing story ideas; writing stories; shoot and host field segments lifestyle show or digital content for the web.

Additional Job Description

Assists in writing and production of broadcast or on-line publicationContributes to the content process and make solid decisions with content to build lifestyle showExecute strategies that engage and grow audiences across all digital devicesWrites, produces and edits material that appeals to target audiencesResearch content topics using the internet, video archives, and other information sourcesHosting 6-8 completed packages per week (4-5 minutes maximum shot and edited) of content in alignment with Lifestyle show definition. Goal of minimum two packages per day which include studio record and field.Filling in for studio show pre-taping when host is on vacation or assignment.Assisting lifestyle producer with the online and social media for the show and clipping paid client segments for digital posting.Other duties as assigned.

  

Requirements & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Communications, TV/film or equivalent experience may substituteUnderstand brand building directivesInteract well with show host, clients and guests, production, digital and engineering staffDetail orientedExcellent verbal, written, grammar and analytical skillsAbility to develop strong on camera communication skills and entertaining presentationsPossess integrity and understanding of viewer needs and expectationsKnowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods, including alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual mediaAbility to meet quality standards for service & evaluate customer satisfaction

The pay range for this position is: $17,000- $21,000.00
