Our Specialty Equipment Services division is in search of a Associate Product Analyst to join our team. This position will be in our downtown, Cincinnati office and will offer a hybrid work schedule post our initial training period.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Contributes to and supports divisional premium volume growth and profitability goals.

Participates in developing new and revised insurance products and rate development and revisions, underwriting guidelines, manuals, and procedures.

Supports the development, maintenances, and audits of rating tools to quote business in accordance with established rules and rate manuals.

Assists in administering training and communication materials and providing training as necessary on product/rate changes to appropriate individuals and teams.

Assists in coordinating and administering all aspects of assigned filings and ensures compliance with statutory requirements. This may include:

Compiling all required information and disseminating/communicating necessary information to others.

Analyzing and responding to objections and inquiries from state regulatory authorities.

Assist in the development of new and revised insurance products comply with state regulatory and statutory requirements.

Participates in audits (i.e., compliance audits, rate/pricing reviews, and agency reviews).

Assist in the monitoring of pertinent insurance publications to determine impact on our line(s) of business. This may include:

Identifying emerging coverage issues, state regulatory concerns, and business unit needs.

Developing action plans, implementing, and communicating changes when appropriate.

Resolves and/or assists with researching, documenting, communicating moderately complex compliance related issues.

Performs duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Experience: Generally, 3 to 6 years of related underwriting, compliance, or product experience.
