Position Overview: As a Product Analyst for the HealthRules suite of offerings, you will be the product owner for a product or functional area within a product defining, prioritizing, and delivering features that add significant value to our customers. Working directly with customers, agile engineering teams, and other internal functions you will create business requirements, user stories, and provide overall prioritization of work. You will also be responsible for helping with the commercialization and organization enablement of features your team creates.

 

Your Impact:

Provide Product Ownership oversight and direction to engineering teams to ensure delivery of features that provide significant customer valueFor broader initiatives within the organization, prioritize and coordinate delivery of multiple product features across multiple engineering teams.Understand the business objectives and rationales behind high level product features; analyze and translate them into Story Maps that can drive the agile development processCommunicate with key stakeholders, including Customers, Professional Services, and Cloud Operations to clarify requirementsWork on related go-to-market and organization enablement activities with key stakeholders including Customers, Account Executives, Sales, Professional Services, and Cloud Operations to create and deliver a great customer experienceLead engineering grooming sessions for selected stories, capturing more detailed task breakdowns and estimatesWork within an assigned engineering scrum team to develop, test, document, accept, and release specific product featuresCommunicate back to the product management team about issues, challenges, and risks related to the engineering process on assigned product featuresDemonstrate completed product features to both internal and external key stakeholdersLead periodic customer onsite visitsLead sessions at the annual user conferenceLead internal training and knowledge transfer for key product featuresPerform all job functions consistent with HealthEdge policies and procedures, including those which govern handling PHI and PII

 

What you bring:

3+ years’ experience as a product manager in a SaaS-based, Agile/Scrum technology company including all related processes (e.g. story mapping, requirements writing, prioritized backlogs, product ownership within a scrum team)3+ years’ experience in product management with increasing levels of responsibilityProven business acumen and in-depth business domain knowledge in the healthcare industry in general and in the Payor/insurance market segment in particularProven track record working with enterprise customers and managing complex customer relationshipsClear thinking and the ability to translate ideas, concepts, context, and business or technical rationale into written and/or presentation format for a variety of internal (management) or external (customers) audiencesAbility to lead teams and customers through ambiguityStrong interpersonal skills … people like working with youThe ability to work across teams and the organizationHigh Say:Do ratio … you walk your talkBachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or healthcare
