Job DescriptionPosition Summary:
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Associate Product Manager to join our world-class team. As the Associate Product Manager you will assist with developing strategies and participating in financial planning for future positioning, growth, and evolution of the Bioproduction Sera portfolio. This exciting role will give you exposure to managing revenue and margin, driving a positive customer experience, and navigating cross-functional teams.
This position is a key contributor in handling the business with the broader Sera leadership team to ensure delivering on commercial and business commitments.
Responsibilities will include:Leverage operational relationships with regional supply chain operations and customer service teams including Operations, Sourcing, Planning, Inventory Management and Regulatory to serve our customers and meet product line goals and commitments.Assist with supply strategy to help maintain robust inventory levels for the business and Bioproduction customers.Develop close relationships with field organization (e.g., sales and technical support) through training and active participation in the sales process, including customer visits, participating with pricing tactics, and customer support.Partner with broader BPG Commercial organization in delivering on revenue and market share objectives.Work collaboratively with other product managers and key functional partners across Thermo Fisher organization.Assist in identifying and developing effective promotional and sales tools and collateral marketing pieces.Assist the coordination of marketing communications activities and plans with the Marketing Communications group and other global teams to ensure consistency and efficiency.Participate in weekly capacity meetings and provide input to operational plansThis role will help develop and deploy the go to market strategy for our portfolio. There will be significant opportunity to learn and develop product management skills in terms of supply, quality and regulatory aspects of Sera products used in bioproduction!
Preferred background/Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with strong analytical abilities and a general knowledge base of biological sciences.Cell culture experience with Sera and/or other biological supplements.1-3 years experience in product management, commercial, field applications, marketing, or supply chain rolesStrong organization, project management, and planning skills to drive proactive execution and improving the customer experience and portfolio value proposition.Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in complex matrix structure.Outcome orientation with a strong desire to achieve business commitments and drive new and recurring business.Ability to navigate teams across global and cultural differences.Travel: approximately 30% globallyPay is determined by experience and geographical location

The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $90,000.00–$112,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
