Job Details:

The Associate Product Manager (APM) plays a key role on the product management team, driving cross-functional collaboration to plan, execute, and analyze business initiatives. This general management position includes P&L responsibility and requires contributing to the development and execution of strategic business plans aimed at achieving corporate and product goals for volume, profit, and market share. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a fast learner, and enthusiastic about gaining insights into the company’s vertically integrated model and diverse Prepared Foods channels

Key Responsibilities:

Business Planning & Execution:
Assist in achieving volume and profit objectives for assigned product categories. Support the execution of business plans to meet financial, category, and market share targets. Monitor key performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to stay on track with category goals.Data Analysis & Insights:
Analyze data to uncover insights and translate findings into actionable business initiatives. Work with the product management team and lead cross functional teams to drive results based on these insights and contribute to the decision-making process.Product & Packaging Development:
Lead and contribute to the development of product and packaging design plans. This includes concept ideation, feasibility validation, R&D, business proposals, project execution, and customer sell-in. Track product performance post-launch and manage product specifications and inventory levels for key items.Forecasting & Inventory Management:
Participate in monthly volume forecasting for assigned categories. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate forecast delivery. Assist in managing inventory to mitigate risks and work with teams to resolve any supply or demand issues.Customer & Sales Collaboration:
Participate and lead in customer sales calls and meetings, collaborating with the sales team to integrate customer strategies into business and brand plans. Develop customer-specific business plans from concept development to product launch and in-market tracking. Serve as the primary point of contact for sales teams, ensuring effective communication of product strategies to external stakeholders.Market & Industry Monitoring:
Track industry trends, competitor activities, and market share. Work with Marketing Analytics to evaluate the impact of macro and micro-environmental factors on category trends. Collaborate with customer business teams to develop and execute customer-specific plans, from concept development to performance tracking in-market.Supply Chain & Operational Efficiency:
Drive continuous improvement in supply chain operations by identifying inefficiencies and leveraging network complexities to optimize costs. Work closely with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to ensure product availability, manage production costs, and mitigate risks in the supply chain. Understand how distribution channels and operational decisions impact cost structures, aligning them with broader business goals.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred but NOT required

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint are critical), Power BI.Working knowledge of syndicated data platforms (IRI/Nielsen) and PMDM/NPD preferred.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Strong collaboration and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Travel: Up to 10% travel required.

Location: This role will be based out of our World Headquarters in Springdale, AR.
