Responsibilities
The Associate Project Manager will support the Human Health IT department as a member of the HH IT Operations team.
The role will take responsibility for partnering on the definition, approach, facilitation and satisfactory completion of medium-scale projects as required to support the HH IT Organization. They will adopt appropriate project management methods and tools to provide effective leadership to the broader project team. They will provide key support to project teams ensuring that realistic plans are maintained while delivering regular and accurate communication to stakeholders. Ensures that deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are formally accepted, by appropriate stakeholders.
This role will work alongside other HH IT colleagues to improve operations and streamline critical internal processes related to data and analytics, portfolio management, workforce planning and other key areas as required.
Key Responsibilities include:
Works with Human Health IT teams to identify and overcome obstacles which arise during the delivery of a project
Collaborates with colleagues to aid in leadership, guidance, and management of all aspects of a given project, including requirements gathering, business case creation, and implementation
Manages dependencies of varying complexity, potentially planning and feeding into larger programs and portfolios
Ensures proper resourcing to provide optimum support for day-to-day activities and changing priorities
Schedules and facilitates project meetings and training as needed
Understands, communicates to, and manages complex stakeholder groups
Initiates projects including defining a scope/charter, identifying stakeholders, and establishing governance
Interprets internal/ external business challenges and recommends improvements to project management processes or services.
Acts as a resource for colleagues across multiple areas, promoting the value of teamwork and relationship building.
Challenges current project services, technologies or products and recommends alternative solutions.
Makes decisions guided by policies in non-standard situations which impacts the achievement of client, customer, operational, project or service objectives.
Manages large or multiple small projects with moderate resource requirements, risk and/or complexity.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
Required Experience and Skills
Minimum of 5 years of project management, business process improvement, IT or related field of work
Proven experience in project management, preferably with a certification in Project Management or Six Sigma/Operational Excellence.
Preferred Experience and Skills
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management.
Excellent problem-solving skills, both technical and non-technical, with the ability to resolve issues during the design and planning phases whenever possible.
Experience in monitoring project performance and making necessary adjustments in schedule, cost or resources.
Ability to effectively communicate and provide timely and accurate information and updates to sponsors and key stakeholders.
Proficiency in budget development and understanding the impact of project changes on cost and schedule.
Strong leadership skills including but not limited to strategic planning, entrepreneurship, innovation, and business savviness. They should be a change catalyst with a proven track record in coaching and development, talent growth, and execution excellence.
Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with the ability to influence and motivate others. They should have excellent emotional intelligence, decision-making skills, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Networking and partnerships should be a key strength.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected US salary range:
$135,500.00 - $213,400.00Available benefits include bonus eligibility, long term incentive if applicable, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days. A summary of benefits is listed here.
